Naples Water Damage in a Garage

The overworked and under maintained HVAC unit in the garage of this Naples home gave up and leaked out water that had been condensed from the interior air. The owners were out of town for several weeks, and the A/C was set to run at 82 degrees. Along the coast, n this part of Florida, that means a lot of moisture buildup. Our SERVPRO team was called to dry out the garage and help to mitigate the potential growth of mold in the duct work. We used air movers and dehumidifiers to capture the moisture within the confined space as we vacuumed out the duct work using a HEPA approved filtration system. We fogged the system to disperse an anti-fungal and antimicrobial agent for final sanitizing. We completed our tasks and suggested a partner to complete the restoration of the manifold and ducts. The homeowners were very pleased with our hands-on approach to remedy their dual problem.
