Fire Damage – Naples Kitchen

Fire damage occurred at this Naples house when a light fixture in the kitchen shorted and began a serious fire in the ceiling. You can view in the before picture all of the insulation on the floor of the kitchen. It is always sad for the victims of these kitchen fires as that is the nerve center of the house and everyone’s routine will be altered until the area has been rebuilt. We had water damage from the fire-fighting effort to clean up, and there was soot and smoke damage throughout the house that needed to be cleaned up. We started by clearing all of the damaged building materials from the house and disposing of them properly. Then we extracted all of the water and set up commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to aid in the drying process. We used air scrubbers to take the smoke smell out of the air in the home. When we had finished with the soot and smoke removal we rebuild the kitchen.
